Updated over 4 months ago

GoSlim products, including Ozempic® (Semaglutide Injection), Saxenda® (Liraglutide Injection), Orlistat, and RYBELSUS® (Oral Semaglutide), may contain ingredients that could potentially cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Here’s an overview of potential allergens for each product:

1. Ozempic® (Semaglutide Injection)

Potential Allergens: The active ingredient in Ozempic® is semaglutide. The injection formulation also includes inactive ingredients such as disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, and water for injection.

Allergy Considerations: Individuals who are allergic to semaglutide or any of the other ingredients in Ozempic® should not use this medication. Signs of an allergic reaction might include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing.

2. Saxenda® (Liraglutide Injection)

Potential Allergens: Saxenda® contains liraglutide as its active ingredient and includes inactive ingredients such as disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol, and water for injection.

Allergy Considerations: People allergic to liraglutide or any other component of Saxenda® should avoid using this product. Allergic reactions can include hives, swelling, and breathing difficulties.

3. Orlistat

Potential Allergens: Orlistat is the active ingredient. The capsules may also contain inactive ingredients like microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, and gelatin, which can be derived from animal sources.

Allergy Considerations: If you have allergies to any of these substances or have specific dietary restrictions, such as a gelatin allergy, you should consult with a healthcare provider before using Orlistat.

4. RYBELSUS® (Oral Semaglutide)

Potential Allergens: RYBELSUS® contains semaglutide as the active ingredient. Inactive ingredients may include magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and mannitol.

Allergy Considerations: Like Ozempic®, if you have an allergy to semaglutide or any other component in RYBELSUS®, you should not take this medication. Potential allergic reactions could involve swelling, rash, or respiratory issues.
